Kids sunscreen works well

Got the Pure Sunscreen Babies & Kids SPF 50. Application was smooth, no fuss with the kids. It held up to swimming with no issues. Didn't irritate their sensitive skin. Good product overall.

Good SPF 50, quick delivery

I ordered the Pure Sunscreen SPF 50 Zero White Cast for a beach trip. It arrived in 4 days, which was faster than I expected for international shipping. The sunscreen didn't leave any white residue, which was important to me. It worked really well in the sun, no burns. I liked that it's reef-safe, too.

Thinking of trying PURU, but I usually use La Roche-Posay. How does it compare in terms of feel on the skin? Don't want something super greasy.

I switched from Avène actually. PURU is definitely less greasy than some of those traditional brands. The zero white cast one blends in really nicely.

It's mineral based, so it's not gonna be quite like chemical sunscreens that just vanish. But for a zinc oxide one, it's pretty good. Not thick or sticky like Badger Balm, if you've ever tried that. Much smoother.

Is PURU sunscreen really reef safe? I'm going to Hawaii and wanna make sure I don't mess up the corals.

Yeah, pretty sure it is. I checked their site when I got some for a trip to the Keys, and they specifically talk about being reef-safe. It's mineral-based, so no bad chemicals.

They use zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, both non-nano, which are generally considered the safest for reefs. Much better than the chemical stuff you find everywhere else.
